Comparation of Turks and Basques

Hello readers!

In groups of four people we have done a google form to see the differences between the Turks and the Basques.

Here you have the from that we have done:

After the form was complited, I have done a comparation:

In the responses we can see that the majority of the Basques aren’t religious persons. However, the majority of the Turks are religious people, and those persons practice the Islam except one who is Musliƶ. Those Turks, who are religious, go to the worship places. Some of them go there every week and some others don’t go so much.

According to the type of music, Basque people hear pop and reggae. Even though, the majority of Turks hear Hip hop.

Referring to the time that we spend listening to music, we can say that there are very different answers among the Basques and among the Turks.

With regard to going to school, if we do an average we can see that we vote about 2,9. So the Basques and Turks like but not much going to the school.

Regarding school in the afternoon, we have it. In addition, the majority of the Turks also have school in the afternoon.

As for the favourite subject, most Basques like Physical education. On the contrary, the Turks favourite subject is maths. Besides, the subjects that Basques like least are sciences. But in general the 30% of Turks and Basques don’t like maths.

Taking into account Basques and Turks the 53% stay at school 7 hours, the 23% are at school 8 hours, the 17% stay 6 hours and the rest have other options.

With regard to the number of subjects, we can see that the majority of Turks have more than 7 subjects and the Basques too.

Referring to the number of subjects we have a day, the Basques have 7 subjects. Meanwhile the Turks have more than 7 subjects a day.

Talking about the extracurricular activities, everyone do them. There are only two Basques who don’t have extracurricular activities.

Concerning to the type of extracurricular activities that we do, most of us and also the majority of them do sports like extracurricular activities. Besides, few Basques do music and many of the Turks also. Almost all of us do school classes of different subjects as a extracurricular activity. In contrast, only one Turk do classes of different subjects. Finally, one of us do other activities and 3 Turks out of 11 do other activities.

Regarding why we do the extracurricular activities, we can see that all the Turks do them because they want, and the majority of us also do them because we want. Whereas, there are a few that do them because they are obligated or because they need.

As for the most famous food of their country, we can see that 6 Turks out of 11 say that the most famous food of their country is the “Kebap” and two say that it is the “Manti”. Conversely, most of us say that the “beans” are the most famous food of our country and some other say that it is “the spanish omelette”, “Bacalao al Pil-Pil”...

Referring to if they like the most famous food of their country, we do an average and we can see that the Basque and the Turks vote about 4,3. So we see that most of them and us like the famous food of our countries.

Concerning the food that we like most, all Basques except one like pasta and all Turks except three like also pasta. Many of us like legumes, but any Turk don't like it. Most of us and only two Turks like vegetables. 16 Basques out of 19 and 9 Turks out of 11 like meat. Lots of us and few of them like fish. All of us except two and 7 Turks out of 11 like sweets. The majority of the Basques and only one Turk like dairy products. Finally, Basques don’t like pizza and only one Turk likes it.

Finally, talking about the favourite food of the Basque and Turks, it is evident that the answers are very different among the Basques and among the Turks.

In conclusion, we can see that we are very similars with respect to the school and in some other aspects we are very different for example in relation to the food.

I hope you have been useful!
